The Days of European Film welcome a very distinguished guest, which is strongly associated with the world of film, however, not as a creator. In co-operation with the Czech Film Center, we will host the professor of Audiovisual Communication at the University of Carlos III. Madrid and member of the program department of San Sebastian Film Festival, Mr. Roberto Cueto.

In addition to selecting films for the festivals in San Sebastian, Gijón and Sitges, he also contributes to the film magazine Cahiers du Cinéma España, and is the author of several books on topics of independent American film and Asian cinema, particularly Korean and Japanese.

During Days of European Film he will meet Czech filmmakers and film professionals and will speak about how the festival works from the dramaturgical perspective, about the rules of film selection, requirements for festival placing, as well as practical advice on how to help to find audience for films at international film festivals.
