Ari and Oona are very different, and yet similar.Blond-braided Ari's family seem straight out of a Barbie dolls catalogue, whilethe dark-haired Oona is growing up in the artistic environment of Berlin'sunderground. Both girls are governed by their instincts, even to the point ofdestroying themselves: Ari through casual sex, Oona through morbid drawings.Their friendship helps them both to escape their dysfunctional families andhypocritical enviroment, but only until the moment when everything changes.
