It's Darkest Under the Candlestick... this is a chilling thriller about the Warsaw police who think nothing of taking aim into their own ranks. Bribes, black market, blackmail, and other such offenses are daily occurences among the police officers. Traffic policeman Ryszard Krol is no saint, but compared to his colleagues, he's an angel. Hovewer, he is accused of the murder of a corrupt colleague and, since all evidence points to him, he has no choice but to start an investigation of his own. He stumbles upon a much larger conspiracy leading to the top ranks of the force, just as the criminal police are set to nab him and strange gangsters are about to rub him out.
