Creative Europe - MEDIA and Digital Cinema present: Kino 2014
The seminar is one of a number of projects, that usualy take place during the Days Of European Film festival and are co-organized by the association ProDigi o.s. (www.digitalnikino.cz), the Days of European Film and Creative Europe - MEDIA Czech Republic.
Again this year, both cinema and film professionals will have the opportunity to attend a one-day seminar on actual topics brought up by the very dynamic world of film. The first half of the day will be devoted to statistics of cinema atendance and digitization results in 2013, perspective for 2014 and information about cinema digitization provided by the Czech Cinematography Fund. Ian Christie, a culture and media historian, will speak about the audience and the best wayst to address it. The second part of the program will summarize new projects that can help cinemas to increase attendance (educational, marketing and technology projects). In the end, professionals can exchange their experience through networking.
During the whole day, there will be stands of individual distributors, integrators, festivals and other relevant organizations in the foyer of the cinema.
The lecture by Ian Christie will be simultaneously translated.
